The Sind River snake (Enhydris chanardi ) is a species of mildly venomous, rear-fanged, colubrid snake. It is endemic to Thailand (near or around Bangkok).
Etymology
The specific name, chanardi, is in honor of Thai herpetologist (Mr.) Khun Tanya Chan-ard.
Behaviour
Enhydris chanardi is crepuscular or nocturnal. It preys on fish and frogs. Little else is known about this recently described species.
