Hua Hin - Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park taxi service

About our taxi services

With our full day taxi services it is possible to visit a number of attractions in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park.

The cars we use are sedans for up to 2 people, SUVs for 3-4 people and  minivans for bigger groups up to 10 people, all depending on the amount of luggage. We recommend SUVs over the sedan as they are more spacious and comfortable, they increase the travel experience.

Our taxi services are private means no others will join you.

Whether you will be able to visit all listed attractions or not will depend on how much time you will spend at each attraction. Our driver will always be waiting at the car park of the attractions and drive you to the next one when you are ready.

For an additional 600 Baht, it is possible to combine this taxi service with a visit to Kui Buri National Park wildlife watching area to see wild elephants. Fabulous day out from hua hin. Driver very punctual, good safe driving. Easy trip to arrange which we did 1 to 2 days in advance. Driver picked us up 8 am, back at 6.50pm. Had our 2 children with us and recommend taking the boat trip to laem sala beach as nice experience. Walk up to Cave is not too difficult but we started at 9.15 so much later would be quite a hot climb as its 430 metres. Well worth it. The khao dang viewpoint is hard climb and wouldnt really recommend with young kids, imo better to spend an extra hour or 2 at laem sala, one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen and campsite there has a small restaurant, showers, deckchairs etc so easy place to spend some time. Definitely worth the extra money going to kui buri, 500 thb for taxi, 600 thb for park entrance for 2 adults+2 kids, 850 thb for truck to go into park, great as saw herd of 20 elephants, 1 solitary elephant, 1 gaur, absolutely beautiful national Park and good ethos. Recommend this trip 100%.

I have no complains about the MPV that was used to transport us to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. It was very nice and comfortable although too big for just 2 adults and a kid. Driver was courteous too except it would have been better if he explained to us earlier like how long we should linger at a certain place. Because by the time we were done with the boat ride at Khao Daeng at around 3.15pm, driver told us we could not do the view point because it closed at 3.30pm. We didn’t know there’s closing time for view point. I guess maybe we spent bit too long at Phranakorn cave and the beach area. Other than that, I really like the park. Will definitely recommend to friends to visit such a gem.

Tour operator's response

Thanks for your valuable feedback! :)

We already informed on the first summary message we sent to you that most attractions closes 5 pm. This means that you need to reach caves, canal, viewpoint trail head latest (ideally) an hour before the closure time. Like canal trip takes 1 hour, Phraya Nakhon Cave takes 40-50 minutes to reach etc. On the other side, we don't offer any hourly based planning. Weather our guests will manage to visit all listed attractions, it all depends on how much time will be spend at the earlier attraction in the planning.

As you say, you may have spent too much time at the cave (and perhaps at a restaurant too?) this means less time left for the other attractions.

Saying this, we had no idea the rangers there wouldn't allow 3:30 pm entrance. We would have thought it would be latest 4 pm or 4:15 pm entrance. The trail up to the viewpoint doesn't take more than 20 minutes hike for a fit person after all. :(

This is not the driver's fault really. We could have informed this more clearly on our end to you. We have offered thousands trips to Khao Sam Roi Yot, never got a feedback about this until now. So, from now on, we will include this info for our upcoming inquiry replies.

Anyhow, we will give a call to Khao Sam Roi Yot authorities and clarify. :)

Thanks,
